Reason 1:
On the plus side, Lola and Jenny (I believe this was her name) are the current saving graces for this location. Both are very pleasant and have superb customer service skills. They are the reasons for the three stars.
Enterprise has customer service down. I've dealt with several rental car companies over the years and Enterprise is consistently far and away the best. Friendly staff and always trying to exceed expectations. Cars have always been clean. Great to work with.
Definitely not my first choice when it comes to renting a car...in fact they are usually my last resort. This location always has long waits whether you are picking up OR dropping off. I liked this location much better when Craig (forget his last name) was managing it. Unfortunately I have not seen him in my recent visits here so I'm assuming he is gone. Some of the current staff (Nicole) seem so inexperienced in dealing with customers. Their rates are usually cheaper than Budget but here lately I have been spending the extra few dollars and frequenting Budget.
I visit Akron annually and with one exception, I always rent from Enterprise. This year was no exception. The staff was friendly and helpful. In particular, Lola was exceptional in making my experience pleasant. See you next year!
I know I will be renting a clean & safe car (the last car I rented from this Enterprise had two bad tires on the front and thus I could NOT even use the car on the 1st day I rented it NOR was I compensated in anyway for the inconvenience; however, it was swapped out the next day once they opened).
Service is always great. I have had no problems with this location what so ever. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is that their pricing is out of wack. I paid $60 a day for a small Hyundai. I found a competitor down the street that gave me the same size car one week later for $29 a day. I told Enterprise this and they said "we'll I'd go rent from them then if I were you". There was no price matching or anything to try and keep my business. I will be renting from their competitor from now on.
I rent frequently throughout the year with Enterprise, and wanted to publicly write a message about a positive experience I had at this location. I came in on a Saturday looking for a 1 day rental to get away for the night, and was pleasantly surprised at the fact I could return mid Sunday afternoon, which is a rarity among other locations, especially where I am from in MI. We had the pleasure of working with Lola who was extremely outgoing and polite! When I returned the vehicle we had a question about a charge for insurance that was higher than quoted. Lola was quick to rectify the charge and called the next day verifying a partial refund would be issued. She also gave us an upgrade on our next available no charge. It was such a pleasure working with Lola at this location, and I appreciate her willingness to go out of the way to make sure we had a wonderful experience at Enterprise. Thanks again!

I am guaranteed to be in and out (3-5 minutes tops) vs. 20 minutes in Enterprise.
