I give it a two stars, that's only because I found a unique shirt that I love in the gift shop and the lovely ladies working there were helpful and patient.
The waitress was apparently busy with other things. She took our order nearly 45 minutes after arrival. Another 45 minutes before the order was brought to the table. All of the food served was either luke warm or cold.
Cracker Barrel remains a staple when you're starving. I ordered their bands and heads and received a small sample of beans (lukewarm) and greens (less than lukewarm). We received ample rolls from a very interested, caring server. The menu is ancient and in need of a major upgrade. Unless a friend or family member insists, this may be my last CB meal. There are other choices
I'm not a rude customer, had never been to this restaurant in particular and usually tip very well. Sorry to say this was the smallest tip I have ever left anyone. My companions at dinner left nothing as a tip and suggested I do the same.
We were seated, it was pretty slow, very few customers. It took ten minutes for the waitress to take our drink orders and another ten minutes to get drinks.
Refills were not offered. I got up to find silverware on my own.
I love the little store. You can find some great deals on their sale items. The food is good. When we went there wasn't much of a wait for a party of 10.
Good food, good service. Very popular and crowded. The store gives you something to do while waiting for your table.
You can count on Cracker Barrel to have those home cooked favorites! If you need to have family over for dinner and want some good food , call ahead. You can order a large half sheet pan of mac & cheese for $15.00 or a pan of their sweet potate casserole. Yummy! The catering menu is excellent.
I usually love Cracker Barrel.
